About Me	Law enforcement career. Thirty seven years with Fairfax County Virginia Police Department. Retired in 2006 as a Lieutenant, then went back to work with Loudoun County Sheriff's Office as a Courthouse Deputy. Fairfax County Police is a department of approximately 1500 officers, Loudoun County has approximately 500. Through the years I ran the full scenario of homocides, rapes, robberies, burglaries, accidents and anything else you can think of. Not very many boring days. Loudoun is a great retirement job and a bit quieter than Fairfax, although compared to good old BSG it is very, very busy. I worked for the FBI for just over a year out of high school, then served in the army 3 years as an MP in Italy. Completed military service and joined Fairfax County. Haven't stopped since. Done a lot of traveling. Have been all over Europe, Mexico, Costa Rica, Brazil and have been able to make it to Hawaii either 14 or 15 times.....lost count. Been a pretty good life. Visited Big Stone this past weekend, Sept. 15-19, 2010. Ran into Christine Yeary, former Vikings majorette, at Vikings game at Bullitt Park. Christine still has what it takes. Quite a lady. Was good to see the old spots....changed quite a bit, but still fun to see. Brought my son-in-law, youngest daughter and 17 month old grandaughter to show them where I came from. Gre...(read more)
