About Me	Since graduation in 1981, I attended the U of M and majored in music and sociology. In 1984, I became a police officer in Deer Lodge. I served on the DLPD for 6 years. In 1990, I was hired as an officer for the Missoula Police Dept. I am currently serving my 25th year in law enforcement. In 1990, I received an award from the American Police Hall of Fame for an incident that occurred in 1987 and in 2005, received the Missoula Meritorious Achievement Medal for a homicide investigation. I am currently working with elementary and middle school children in the school resources program. In all, I have spent over 14 years as a street officer and ten years in detectives and public relsources. In 1994, I married Cindi Reather from Billings. I have a 21 year old step-son (Kevin) who is currently a junior at UM business school and a 4 year old son of my own, Tony. I have remained active in music and even played bagpipes with the Celtic Dragon pipe band in Missoula. I am a better singer than bagpiper though!
