About Me	I left pottsboro in 1978 and joined the army. I was selected for the all army track and field team and was the all army champion in diiscus in 1983. And missed qualifing for the olympic trails by 14 feet. I left the army in 1985, and was honorably discharged and optained the rank of staff sgt. (E-6. I then went to work as a state law enforcement officer for the state of California and retired in 2002. Until this day I still continue to coach high school and college track field. And have been married to the same woman for 25 years I have 3 daughters and 1 son. 1 daughter is a nurse, the other is a singer/song writter whom is doing very well in Nashville, and my youngest daughter is in her 3rd year of college at loyola marmount college in California.
