Army, 26 Years
Enlisted in the US Army as a Helicopter Mechanic 27 Jun 58, waived Mechanic School in Basic Training to go to Artillery School to go to Airborne School. Served as an Artillery person for 5 yrs, 3 months and 13 days, got promoted to E-7 changed MOS to Logistics. Appointed to Warrant Officer WO1, Quartermaster 27 May 67. Continued to serve in US army Logistics until 31 Oct 84. Retired from the US Army 1 Nov 84, with rank of CW4.
