It's our 50th! Save the date: Saturday 9/23/23, because we are going to bring you a beautiful occasion to remember -- a gourmet dinner in the heart of Post Falls at a great venue called 'Gathered' (830 N Spokane St). Dinner served buffet style and will include Tri-Tip Steak and/or Honey Garlic Chicken, Oven Roasted Potatoes with Olive Oil & Rosemary, Haricot Verts, Tossed Salad with your choice of 5 different house dressings, and optional dessert of cake brownies or assorted cupcakes. We'll have the run of the whole place, which includes a banquet room and an up-the-steps second room with no-host bar. Meal/service/tax/gratuity is included in one price of $35 per person. More details to come, including a full weekend of fun activities to choose from. Mark your calendars!!
FRIDAY: A 4pm WALK-THROUGH of the halls at the building we graduated from (which is now Mullan Trail Elementary School). Folks who meet up for this can informally join one another afterwards for DINNER at any of many great eating establishments in Post Falls. We can supply suggestions like White House Grill (Greek); Fu-ki, India House (Asian); Capones, Republic Kitchen & Taphouse, Sawmill Grill (pub food); Rogers (burgers & shakes); LaCabana, Rancho Viejo (Mexican); Embers by the Green, Westside (pizza); Wellness Bar (health food); OR the food trucks at Post Falls Pavilion.
SATURDAY: Meet up informally in small groups for BREAKFAST at 8 or 9 (at the North Spork food truck at Post Falls Pavilion on 41, or Corner Cafe on Seltice or Current Kitchen at Templins). Then meet at 10am for nostalgic tour of Post Falls MUSEUM (corner of Spokane & 4th). REUNION DINNER -- the big event, program, gourmet meal -- at Gathered, 5pm. Informal AFTER PARTY at The Falls Club
SUNDAY: At 11am classmates can choose to do a short HIKE on the Centennial Trail or meet for MINI-GOLF at Putt'n Around. Following these activities, all (whether or not you hiked or golfed) can gather at Falls Park (at 305 W 4th) for a NOON PICNIC -- pack and bring your own food.
