Jose Mario Gomez completed his doctorate degree in Counseling Education from Texas A&M University in Corpus Christi, Texas. He presently operates a non-profit foster care agency in Corpus Christi and Harlingen, Texas. He attended Porter High School when Mr. Ortiz was principal of the school. He later attended Texas Southmost College and Pan American University where he completed his B.S. in Criminal Justice. His Master's degree in Pyschology was completed in 1995. Jose has worked with children for over 16 years serving the South Texas area from Corpus Christi to Brownsville. He is also involved with civic boards focusing his time and energy with under privileged populations. He views himself as an advocate and as a third voice for youth.
