With deepest condolences to Greg's family, I wish to share just a few memories from happy times in our youthful days. We grew up as next door neighbors beginning during mid elementary school days and stayed close through college and early married life. Seeing Greg in his police uniform brings to mind a prank he played in our young days when walking across Central Ave. to (probably high school). It was a snowy morning and traffic was heavy (school buses pulling in and cars). Greg sloshed to the middle of the street, held up both arms in opposite directions to stop all traffic, and motioned for me (alone) to cross the street -- how embarrising. If there had been a manhole, I might have crawled in. Big laughs though since then.... We built shacks, explored, ice skated, were in Boy Scouts together, the PHS bands, and swimming team. This wonderful friend is missed. Rest in Peace, Greg.
