About	Lancaster, Michal P of Kalamazoo Michael passed away on Wednesday, October 19, 2011. He was born October 24, 1970 in Kalamazoo, a son of Glenn and Linda (Singer) Lancaster and was a lifelong resident of Kalamazoo. He had earned an Associates Degree from Kalamazoo Valley Community College and was currently a student at Davenport College. Michael's passion was to be the best father for his children that he could possibly be. His other interests included hockey, the Red Wings, the Lions and the University of Michigan. On June 30, 2001, he married Jennifer Dykema, who survives. Also surviving are their children, Emily and Ethan Lancaster; his parents, Glenn and Linda Lancaster; his brother, Todd Lancaster; his parents-in-law, Terry (Linda) Dykema; two brothers-in-law, David (Crystal) Dykema and Zack Dykema; a grandmother, LaVerle Greiner; nieces and nephews, Zachary and Olivia Lancaster, Zeke and Isabella Dykema. A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday at 3:00 PM in the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Portage Chapel, 411 E. Centre Ave., with Rev. Fr. Larry Farrell officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home beginning at 1:00 PM Sunday. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the family for the future educational needs for his children.
