About Me	I am still living and working in Peoria, IL. What can I say, I think I actually like this town. Sam and I got engaged in Bradley Park on May 5th, 2008 and the wedding planning is in full swing. The big day will be on July 11, 2009 in Peoria!! So just as a reminder, the wedding is on 7/11 for good luck! I just got through probably the hardest year of my life. Lately, I am working on coming back around to my old self and focusing on the things that I enjoy doing the most. Family and friends are by far what guide me on an everyday basis now. My brother Jay left this world on Sept. 7th, 2007. For those of you who knew Jay, you know what a special guy he was. For those of you who didn't, you really missed out on meeting an amazing person who had so many challenges in his life. I think about Jay every second of my life, and honestly feel totally lost without him. He was and always will be my biggest hero. As Jay's one year anniversay approaches, I still get sad thinking about how he unexpectadley left us. Quite honestly, everyday is a struggle. As more time goes on, I start to forget more and more how Jay felt when I hugged him, or how his smile looked. I get sad thinking how he won't get to be in my wedding like everyone else's brothers get to. However, I have some great friends around Peoria and an amazing fiance who continually keep me going and have stuck by me through this. I am so grateful to have people who care about me.
