| About Me | Married young and had 2 sons. Married second time to husband, Bill, (for 35 years now) and gained 3 more kids (from his first marriage. Besides raising our family, I worked at a variety of jobs eventually joining Johnson & Johnson in 1966 where I had a career of almost 20 years in Information Services (now called "IT") as a programmer, Systems Analyst, Project Leader & Internal Consultant. Was active in management associations. Left J&J to open own business and ran a successful dry cleaning business for 13 years. During that time I was involved in trade related lobbying efforts both at the federal and state level. Since retiring to North Carolina after selling our dry cleaning business, my husband and I have both been active in our local community activities and in being "thorns in the sides" of any local government officials when we think the public interest is not being served.
