Graduation Year Class of 1990
Date of Birth Mar 27, 1972
Date of Passing Aug 06, 2018
About Keith was raised in Port Angeles, graduating from Port Angeles High School in 1990. He did well in school, was well liked, and participated in soccer, baseball and basketball.

Keith Daniel Danforth passed away peacefully after a short, courageous battle with aggressive cancer. Keith was 46.

After graduation, Keith went to Alaska for a year, where he worked for his Grandpa Craig building a sawmill. He went moose hunting with a few of his friends while there and had a memorable afternoon with a bull moose and Alaska Fish and Game. Returning to Port Angeles, he worked in the woods for a few years. Besides Port Angeles, he worked all over Washington state. Keith was a long-time employee at Horizon Excavating in Port Angeles when he became ill. He was a hard worker, known for his reliability and sense of perfection.

Keith loved the outdoors, both for work and recreation, especially fishing, hunting, and riding his screaming Yamaha with his buddies. Keith developed a great friendship with George Schoenfeldt, his friend Denzel's father. George was planning a fish camp at LaPush; George, Keith (spending a large part of his off-work time on the project) and a few of George's fishing buddies built that camp. Seeing the finished bunk house this spring gave Keith a great sense of accomplishment.

Keith always had a smile on his face and he loved to sing. He could be heard singing in the shower or singing cute little ditties with his Grandma Irene. He loved to listen to his music on his cell phone and attend concerts with friends and family. Keith had a great sense of humor, loved to laugh and have crazy fun, like dressing up in goofy costumes for Halloween. Keith was honest, generous and always helping those in need. He was a wonderful soul, good hearted, kind, thoughtful, gentle and caring. He was charming and polite. Keith never married. Keith had many friends, too numerous to mention by name. He will be missed by all who knew him.

Keith mentioned he had a full life - great job, good food, a family and friends he loved – what more could a guy ask for?

Keith was preceded in death by his grandfather and grandmother Danforth of Sequim; grandfather Kenneth Harris of Chico, California; uncles Mark Elkhart and Tommy Harris of Port Angeles; and his fish camp buddy Ray Stossel, who passed away of cancer four days prior to Keith.

Keith is survived by his father Lawrence Danforth and partner Phyllis of Lynnwood, Washington; his mother Charlene (Harris) Danforth of Port Angeles; brother Duane Danforth and wife

Stephanie of Covington, Washington; grandparents Alice and Howard Craig of Port Angeles; and various beloved aunts, uncles and cousins from Port Angeles and the Greater Seattle Area.
