About Me	Wow! That's a loaded question! It would be easier to list what I have NOT done. I have been truly blessed with good health and a rewarding career and family life. Immediately after graduating from FSU, I taught home economics for one year at Poplar Springs and 18 years at PDL. During those years I was fortunate to serve as advisor to a very active FHA chapter that produced numerous district and state officers and proficiency event winners at the district, state and national levels. In 1995, I earned my Master's Degree in school counseling and psychology, and I am currently serving in my ninth year as guidance counselor at PDL. I have been married to Gil Anderson for the past 14 years. He, too, is an educator who taught agriculture for 26 years at Poplar Springs, and has worked at the District Office as Transportation and Food Service Director for the past four years. We live on a farm about 12 miles north of Westville where we raise cattle, grow hay, and Gil has a heavy equipment business on the side. Our jobs and the farm keep us busy six days a week, but on Sundays we worship our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ at Beulah Anna Baptist Church.
