She is a native of Pompano Beach, FL born to James Robert and Ollie Merle Walton on February 15, 1941. She graduated from Pompano Beach High and she treasured her friendships from that time. She loved Christ Jesus and encouraged others to do so. She loved to laugh and have fun with family and friends. She loved to read and watch the “best” Hallmark movies. She is survived by many who love her including her son, Kenneth Thomas Werk, Jr. and his wife, Dedy and her daughter, Julie Schlapkohl and her husband, Mark, and her grandchildren, who will miss her greatly!
