Bob had a tough life, but he was generous and brilliant. A great jazz drummer, he wrote a book on the subject. Didn’t get to go to college. But he knew more about subjects that interested him(chemistry, mechanics etc.) than those of us who did go. It was an honor to know him(from the time we were about 10)
