About	I'm sad to say that my best friend since the first grade - Mary Lord passed away in 2007. For those that don't know she had a kidney transplant over 20 years ago. The medications that kept her kidney healthy ironically and sadly took a toll on her liver. She passed away in Hawaii where she had lived with her long time boyfriend Scott DeWarns. She was like a sister to me and a true gift in my life. I will never know a friendship like that again.
