| About Me | In 1978 I had a development deal with Polygram International. Our band recorded a three song EP. I was the drummer, of the principal songwriters and producer. Polygram did not renew the option, but then Warner Bros. picked us up. They also did not renew the option. The band broke up in 1982. But I continue to write with my principal songwriting partner – who I met in 1977 – until his death in February 2021. Following the breakup of the Band, I began working driving a school bus for developmentally disabled physically impaired children to United Cerebral Palsy. Because my children arrived alert, and the principal of the school noticed that I had to have one of the children to say my name and another one to adjust his neck brace, I was offered a position as a prevocational instructor. This led to a career in human services and play 1995 I was essentially acting as a psychiatric social worker supervising three residential facilities serving mentally ill and cchemically addicted populations. Because my neurological condition, neurofibromatosis type I, had progressed to the point where tumors were growing my spinal cord, which resulted in losing the ability to attend to most of the activities of daily living, I have been on disability. I have still several coals in the fire with regard to songs I have written on my own or with a partner that I am looking to market.
