About	Kevin Porter died peacefully just after midnight on March 12, 2022 in Spokane, WA of complications related to the stroke and heart attack he suffered in 2012. His sister, Carol and eldest daughter, Elizabeth were with him to provide comfort. After serving in the Marine Corps for 3 years, Kevin moved to Reno where he married and raised two daughters. Throughout his adult life Kevin held a variety of jobs form logging and cutting nose cones for rockets, to being Chief of Security at Western Village Casino and being an EMT at Northern Nevada Medical Center to name a few. In addition, he did competitive arm wrestling, participated in rodeos as a team roper, and was once kidnapped at gunpoint. For those who are interested, a Celebration of Kevin’s Life will be held in Reno, NV on June 25th, 2022 at 1 pm at the Mountain View Mortuary.
