About Me	My mom married Gary Wilkins (Neal Wilkins elementary - son) When I was in ninth grade in Deerfield Beach Florida. Suddenly I was thrust into freezing cold weather and on to a dairy farm. My whole life as I knew it was turned upside down. To make matters even worse, we were the only Latinos in the whole town. I remember that the newspaper even did a story on us and we were on the front page. I didn’t graduate with your class because we up ended moving back to Florida, but I do recall with fondness the time that I did spend at Platteville high school.
