| About Me | Hi, my name is Daddy and my kids need to go potty.....well, they've been potty trained for some time now, but once having to introduce myself like this still brings a smile to my face =D So you wanna know about me...Who am I? What am I about? Those are some loaded questions, but if you're up for the ride, I can guarantee an enlightening and fun one! If you haven't figured out by now, I'm an immensely blessed and proud full time husband and pop of 3 kiddos that will probably blow me away more than they will you. And while they are growing up waaayyy too fast, I cannot wait to see how much more of an impact they will have on the world than they already have. God IS good, and IS Love indeed! Now for the fun stuff ;-) Life and Love...kind of synonymous huh. So simple they are complex, and I love them both. Simplicity is absolutely the key to life; the key to true joy and happiness. Yeah, we all screw up (Romans 3:23), but if we surround ourselves with loved ones and true friends (Eccl 4:9-12 and Prov 27:17); enjoy the snot out of trials and tribulations (Rom 5:1-5); understand that forgiveness is for us and not others; and take to heart the fact that God does not love us because Christ died for us, but Christ died for us because God loves us; we will walk right into a life filled with integrity, honor, and love. Our life is our testimony, and I'll proudly own the fact that I wear goofy Pj's; I drive a minivan; and I've even managed to screw up things a few thousand times myself. There's only one man that ever walked this earth perfectly, and I am sure as heck not Him. Who are we if we can't love ourselves as we were, we are and will be? "They" said it right when "they" said, It's not having what you want; it's wanting what you have. You are indeed right where you are supposed to be. As believers, we are to be as Christ-like as possible. How can we properly represent the immeasurable love of Christ if we are not openly fallible? Without that, it's then impossible to be forgiven, live openly in grace and be loved! Let alone love properly. Okay, Okay! I'll answer the question now... I believe Mark Twain said that the two most important times in your life are they day you are born and when you find out why. So who am I?!?!? As the man God wants me to be, I am FREE to love and encourage others in becoming whom God wants them to be through His wisdom and grace.. I give you my word that I won't thump and I'm not gonna push, but I promise I will love you, and I'm gonna challenge you via my imperfect life. Love me or leave me, that's okay with me; but as for me an...(read more) |
