About Me	I am a music therapist-board certified currently serving in the United States Peace Corps as part of Group 92 in Fiji. I am working with the Community Youth Empowerment Project. I have my Masters of Music Therapy from Drury University and I completed my bachelor's equivalency in music therapy in July 2014. I completed my music therapy internship at the Children’s Advocacy Center of Collin County in Plano, TX. I am an advocate for music therapy, an advocate for child advocacy, and an advocate for mental health. I am passionate about psychiatric mental health and the way music can open doors in this population. I have lived in Missouri ever since graduating high school. I graduated from Missouri State in Dec. 2010 and I received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Bachelor of Arts in Music. I love music, I tried majoring in something else and that just didn't work! When I decided on music and psychology, I couldn't think of anything better than music therapy for a master's degree.
