About Me	Went to Texas Tech. Became an RN working in women/children mostly, research, oncology. I have a published article in medical journal regarding treatment for ovarian cancer. Met my husband in Lubbock TX and we married in 1982. I had my oldest daughter in 1983. I had my youngest daughter in 1986. I Started having severe medical problems in 1997. After 30 major surgeries and discovering I have a genetic disorder called Ehler’s Danlos Syndrome, I was force out of work and into disability. Unfortunately my kids have inherited this genetic disorder. My youngest has a bad case of it and is still living with us at home. My oldest gets along pretty well and has two teenagers. I love them all so much. I lost my father in 2010 which was devastating as a daddy’s girl. I had my best furry friend (a Yorkie) for 16 years. He saved my life by alerting to skin cancer & comforted me comforted me through difficult times. He is my angel now. I now have a new puppy named Bes. He is a beautiful Papillon & weighs 4lbs. I’ve had three quarter horses but no longer able to care for them so they are living in OK. We try to get away on short weekend trips to Broken Bow, OK. It’s not far and very peaceful. My husband works so hard but we were able to fly to WA in April 2015. Hiked up Mt Saint Helens and brought back snow from near the smoking ridge. There is so much to see a do in Vancouver and there are most unusually beautiful trees and flowers there...a lot brought over after war in Japan. We visited Astoria, OR where many movies were filmed including Kindergarden Cop. We also drove through the mountains a to the beach where Haystack Rock is...600ft tall rock where many birds nest. This rock sits in the shallows of the Pacific Ocean and can be accessed by foot at low tide. Whales migrate through this area too. It’s a beautiful Area of the USA! My h...(read more)
