Steven J. Karhu passed away March 26, 2007, in South Lake Tahoe.
Steve was born May 1, 1966, in San Diego, Calif. He received his bachelor's degree in 1991 from Texas Tech School of Business, where he was a member of Alpha Tau Omega fraternity.
He worked in the gaming industry as an income control manager for Harrah's Entertainment. Steven married Lisa Ann Wenshau May 8, 1999, in Dallas, Texas. He attended Hope Lutheran Church of the Sierra.
He is survived by his wife, Lisa Ann Karhu of South Lake Tahoe; sons, Jack and Brett; parents, Angie Karhu of Hawaii, and Viljo Karhu of Sherman, Texas; brothers, Chris Karhu and his wife Leslie, and Brian Karhu and his wife Tricia, both of The Colony, Texas; nephews, Jason, Brandon, and Ryan; and numerous other loving relatives and friends.
Preceding him in death was his nephew, Patrick Keith Karhu in 1997.
