Class of 1970 - 50th Reunion

After careful discussion, Ann and I have decided to postpone the Class of 1970 - 50th reunion to 2021.
We considered several things -
The 50th is special and we'd like to have as many alumni as possible but several live in 'hot spots' and shouldn't travel, other out-of-state may not want to travel to Illinois.
Some alumni have underlying conditions and are avoiding any outside or group contact. (Yes, we are in that "senior" group.) Even if they live right here.
Illinois schools may not have fall sports and there may not be a traditional homecoming or parade. No chance to 'show off'!
We are hoping for a 50+1 in the Fall 2021. So please share this information with any other classmates you can reach.

I need someone with a truck(s) to volunteer to drive and carry us in the back. I have signs.
6:30 pm - Supper
Several class members are coming from out of state - Please come - especially if you live in the area!
Plano American Legion, East Dearborn Street - lower hall (basement - next to the bar)
Pot luck - bring a dish or two to pass
Plates, cups, napkins and flatware - coffee and ice tea will be provided
Cash bar is available in the next room for alcohol drinks and soda pop
There is NO charge to attend the reunion - I will accept donations toward the small rental fee of the room. And I'll need help with clean up.
If you have high school memorabilia, please bring it along
We will take a class picture after the meal.
Dress is casual.
