Joe Riekers

Class of 1988

Joe Riekers has combined his formal education in English and Literature and love of music to become a popular Country Music artist and songwriter. Joe's holiday theme songs "Best Gift of All" recently won the Paramount Group Nashville - International Song and Lyric Directors Award. His first full CD was released in October 2011 and features original songs and guitar melodies that showcase Americana-style lyrics with modern country themes. Joe has been performing in venues throughout the US and can be heard on internet and Indie radio and country music radio stations.
