I was in the Nebraska Army National Guard from April 1990-March 1992. I did Basic Combat Training at FT Bliss (El Paso, TX) in 1990& Advanced Individual Training at FT Sam Houston (San Antonio, TX) in 1991. I was Split Option. I was assigned to HHC 1-134th INF (M) in Omaha and was attached to CO B 1-134th INF (M) in Norfolk. I was a 91A Basic Combat Medic.

I graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Industrial Engineering and was commissioned into the Army Corps of Engineers branch through the University of Nebraska-Lincoln’s Reserve Officers Training program in 1986.
I am currently serving as the Deputy Commander TAD (Fwd), USACE, Camp Arifjan, Kuwait. I provide design; construction execution and related engineering services in support of CENTCOM designated activities.
My past assignments include: Fort Wainwright, Alaska as a Vertical Platoon Leader in the 47th Engineer Company (Combat Heavy); Executive Officer in B Company; Assault & Barrier Platoon Leader/HHC XO, and Assistant S3 in the 6th Engineer BN, 6th ID (Light). Follow on assignments included Assistant Division Engineer Staff Officer and Company Commander, 299th EN BN, 4th ID(M), Fort Carson, CO. Company Commander, 567th Separate Engineer Company (Light)(ABN), Fort Wainwright, Alaska. Observer/Controller, Joint Readiness Training Center, Fort Polk, LA. Installation Management Division Chief, Office of the Program Manager, Saudi Arabia National Guard (OPM-SANG), Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Battalion Executive Officer 10th Engineer BN; Brigade Operations Officer Engineer BDE; and Deputy Commander 4th Armor BCT, 3rd ID (M), Fort Stewart, GA. Battalion Commander, Base Support Battalion-North, Area Support Group-Kuwait, Camp Buehring, Kuwait. Deputy Commander Area Support Group-Kuwait, Camp Arifjan, Kuwait.
