About Me | PORTA-PARTY PACKS Available... www.PORTAPARTYPACK.com And Please Go Listen to My Music... www.myspace.com/cdotquest CdotQue$t was born and raised in Piscataway, NJ and has been influenced by music since an early age. His Father has been in various rock bands for many years and this exposure has given him a good ear for music and an unmistakable flow. CdotQuest has been a fan of Hip-Hop and its culture since early on, but was behind the scenes for a number of years encouraging his friend’s success. Though it seemed like Que$t had his goals in order, he had some encounters with the police which almost lead to time in jail. This made him change his priorities. Music became his primary focus. One day a childhood friend of his provoked him to freestyle and he rose to the challenge. Everyone was in awe of his natural talent and delivery. Que$t began writing music, laying down tracks, and performing in front of his family and friends. He would throw parties at his house; perform songs and freestyles all night long. CdotQue$t began making a name for himself in central New Jersey. Through a connection, he met a friend of Arturo “Thunder” Gatti’s manager, who convinced him to create an entrance song for Arturo. Que$t hit the studio and in a short time came up with a song called, “Thunder”. Arturo Gatti used this song as his entrance song in January of 2006 in his fight vs. Thomas Damgaard on HBO. Gatti won the fight that night and the song, “Thunder” became a hit with Gatti fans and created a lot of buzz on myspace and through out New Jersey. CdotQue$t has continued his journey to become an established artist by engineering for various local artists and by focusing on his solo career. Currently, Que$t is in the process of finishing his first album which he collaborated with many soundclick.com producers. The album title, “King Charles”, will be released in early 2009 for promotional use. While heavily promoting this album through myspace, flyers, and local clubs, he will also be performing and focusing on his sophomore project. As one of the main producers for his next project, we can only expect big things from this upcoming star. When asked of the future plans of his career, he simply replied, “I just want to mak...(read more) |
