About Me	I am so very blessed. . . . . I was born in Shawnee, Oklahoma, while my dad finished his degree and served as the Student Body President at Oklahoma Baptist University in Shawnee, Oklahoma. I grew up in a wonderful Christian home! My dad pursued his education (with 6 earned degrees including a PHD in Philosophy from Baylor University in 1975--the year I graduated from high school!) as he served as a Baptist preacher in 3 different churches. In 1981, while my sister and I were attending Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas, my dad suddenly passed away. He and my mom had served 10 years at Calvary Baptist Church in Enid, Oklahoma. My mom also pursued her education (including a Master's in Counseling from Baylor University). She was a High School English teacher, a music teacher and recently retired as a Jr. High Counselor! My only sister, Lexa, has been and continues to be my very best friend. (We were even college roommates at OBU!!). Currently, she and her husband, Barry, serve at First Baptist Church in Arlington, Texas, as Music Ministers. Lexa also teaches Voice and Private Piano. They have 3 children, all in college now. During my Jr. High years I attended Midway Jr. High in Waco, Texas, and Longfellow Jr. High in Enid Oklahoma. I then attended Enid High before graduating from Pioneer High School in Enid, OK, 1975. In 1979 I received a Bachelor of Arts college degree with a major in Elementary Education and a minor in History from Oklahoma Baptist University in Shawnee, Oklahoma. Then in 1984 I received a Master of Arts in Religious Education with a minor in Music, Missions, and Counseling from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas. After graduating with my Master's, I continued to take more college courses in Counseling. From 1984-1989 I served as a preacher's wife at Trinity Baptist Church (West Monroe, Louisiana). During this time our two children, Luke Logsdon Moseley (1985) and Kelsey Lorrayne Moseley (1987) were born! Then from 1989-1993 we served in our next church, Baptst Temple (Oklahoma City) before later serving at First Baptist Church (Seminole, OK) from 1993-2003. Then when Luke and Kelsey were school age, I taught in the public school system as a 6th Grade Teacher in Oklahoma City and a Jr. High Writing and English Teacher (7th and 8th Grade) in Seminole and McCloud, Oklahoma. I also was a Piano Instructor (with a studio of 30+ students) as well as a private High School Math and Language Arts Tutor. Currently, I am an Art Teacher (with over 500+ Kindergarten through 6th Grade students) with the Richardson Independent School District at Canyon Creek Elementary and Spring Valley Elementary. I love being able to teach Art, one of my ongoing passions which first sprang to life as I sat each Sunday on the 2nd church pew drawing my dad preaching and my mom playing the organ! Not to mention my creative grandmother, Mim, who always made sure I had a paint brush or any other art tool in my hand to express myself. My continuous goal and prayer is to let others know my Lord and Saviour who is with me through the joyous mountain top experiences of life as well as the valleys of very difficult days. (Check out my Jesus Art Album in Photos.) Luke graduated from the University of Texas in Arlington with a Music Degree in Composition. He and his wife, Mandi, are pursuing their music dreams in Nashville, Tennessee, using their giftedness in leading worship through their singing, playing the guitar and Luke's passion, the piano keyboard. Luke is the keyboardist and backup singer for Francesca Batistelli, Grammy winner Christian Artist. Kelsey, a recent graduate from Oklahoma State University with a Business Degree emphasis in Management, lives in Tulsa, Okahoma, with her husband, Mark. She is currently a Verizon Manager. Just recently in the year 2011, both Luke and Kelsey were married to their soul mates, Mandi and Mark, with weddings 3 months apart! Lastly, I must acknowledge the one who is always happy to see me and never gets cross with me, my miniature daschund, Alph Alpha, known as "Alphie", (named after the old tv classic, "The Little Rascals").
