About Me	My name is Cheryl: I was born in Kewanee, Illinois and my parents moved to Calif when I was about two years old. I'm a GRANDMA!!, daughter, sister, wife, mom, cousin, aunt and a friend. I am surrounded by a lot of awesome people in my life. I met my husband when I was in the 6th grade, 1971, and married him 12 years later in Sept of 1983. Twenty-five years after that, I married him again <3 We have been happily married now for 30 years. He is my "Happily Ever After". We are planning on traveling the USA, Canada and Alaska when we retire in 5 years !! We have 3 awesome kids that are ages 27, 25 and 22. I also became a grandma this year!! The good Lord blessed me with my first grandchild on March 2, 2013! Her name is Bonnie <3 I have been a Domestic Engineer now for almost 23 years, but before that I worked as a Technical Illustrator/Graphic Artist in the Aerospace Industry for about 13 years, working on various proposals and projects for companies such as Douglas Aircraft, Lockheed, Northrop, Hughes Aircraft, Aerojet, JPL etc. I also made Installation and Operation Manuals, which included text layouts and all of the artwork, for a fireplace company called Superior Fireplace. I like to keep a very clean house, I'm a "clean freak" (as my kids would tell you). I'm funny, (but don't try to be). I LOVE to laugh, LOVE to LOVE, I LOVE big hugs, I can be a TOUGH girl when I need to be, but I can be shy around people I don't know. I LOVE CAMPING/TRAVELING, I LOVE FISHING, I LOVE hiking, running on my treadmill or at the HS track. I love to ride my bicycle and ride my atc. I'm VERY PASSIONATE about my crocheting, I also do cross stitch, needlepoint, embroidery and loom knitting. I HATE DOWN TIME, I like to stay busy. I have a strong desire to learn to knit and plan on accomplishing that task before I die!! I also like to paint ceramics and I own/run a part time company, painting what we call "Holiday Lawn Art".
