About	Salvadore Munoz Jr., a 22-year- old plumber's apprentice was killed early Sunday when his car slammed into a fire hydrant at Snell road and Avenida Arboles. Munoz, of 5715 Via Monte Dr., was thrown from the car on impact. He was dead on arrival at Valley Medical Center. Officers said his southbound sedan apparently had skidded on gravel and slammed into construction barricades before hitting the hydrant. Munoz was a native of San Jose. [b. 19 Jun 1945.] He was the husband of Donna Munoz of San Jose; the father of Salvador Paul Munoz; the son of Mr. and Mrs. Salvador Munoz Sr.; and the brother of Robert, John, Alfred, Tony, Esperanza, Della, Rachel, Helen and Blanche Munoz, all of San Jose. The Rosary will be recited at Lima-Salmon-Erickson Mortuary. Requiem Mass will be read at 9 a.m. Wednesday at Holy Family Church. Burial will be at Santa Clara Catholic Cemetery.
