About Robert Paul Johnson Jan. 15, 1945 - Mar. 31, 2011 Resident of San Jose Bob was born in Lorain, Ohio. He was a lifetime resident of San Jose and attended Pioneer High School from 1960 to 1963. Affectionately called "Crazy Bob" because of his provocative sense of humor and outlandish comments, Bob liked to make people laugh. He was the founder and long time owner of Stick Transmissions Unlimited on Monterey Road in San Jose. Bob enjoyed attending stock car races at the San Jose Speedway and Santa Clara County Fairgrounds where he sponsored destruction derby cars and several racecar drivers over the years. He loved fishing, houseboat vacations, riding his Kawasaki and collecting classic cars. Bob also liked playing cards and was considered by many lucky at craps and an expert Liar's Dice player. Bob was preceded in death by his mother, Irene Sciolto. He is survived by his half-brother, Wayne Sciolto, who lives in Oregon, his children, Kari and Scott Johnson, and his grandchildren, Jason, Jacob and Maya.
