Sandra Jeanne "Mom" Trethewey, known to all as 'Mom', a seven year resident of Lake County, passed away peacefully on March 4, 2007, in Lakeport. She was born January 30, 1947 in Stockton, Calif. Formerly a 30 year resident of Campbell Calif., she spent most of her working years in the food industry. Sandy was a member of the California Bowhunters, NRA, Ducks Unlimited, and MADD. Sandy is survived by her loving husband of 28 years Joseph Trethewey, five children, Roni Lopez of Stockton, Tammy Rust of Scotts Valley, Autumn Paul of Phoenix, Arizona, Joann Trethewey of Campbell, and Tom Trethewey of Patterson, California and 11 grandchildren. She is also survived by many close and dear friends, many of whom are like her children. Sandy's loves of her life were her children, being a mother, cooking for friends and family, helping anyone and everyone she met, and her dogs, Kelsey, Saul, Star, Brandy, and Tule. She also enjoyed outdoor activities, dancing, knitting and sewing.
