About	Cynthia Jean Holdway of Eau Claire, WI passed away, Thursday, August 27, 2009 at home. Cynthia, the daughter of the late Orien Howard and Rosemary Howard formerly of San Jose, California was born on February 2, 1947 in Eau Claire, WI. She grew up in San Jose, California and graduated from Pioneer High School in 1964. She later went on to Cabrillo College in Aptos, CA to receive her RN degree in 1974. Cynthia excelled at nursing with capability, sympathy and caring - working in both California and at Luther Hospital in Eau Claire until she became disabled several years ago. Cynthia was proceeded in death by her parents and by her brother John L. Howard. She is survived by her son. James D. Holdway of St. Paul, MN; two sisters, Pamela Navabpour of San Juan Capistrano, CA and Deborah Howard-Ryburn of St. Paul, MN, as well as several nieces and great nieces and great nephews. Cynthia became a registered nurse a few years after graduating from highschool working in both California and Wisconsin until she was disabled a few years ago.
