he was on the baseball squad for the mustangs, winning pennant three years. takent by the yankees he went on to be the new york yankee pitcher/reliever in the 80s,threw a shut out on the fourth of july. he is reported as the winningest lefty reliever in mlb in the eighties as well. after the yankees, he would also play for the giants and the athletics before retiring and going into the giants farm system, rising thru the ranks. he went twice to the world series with the giants, winning in 2010 as pitching coach.
