About	Janet R. Payne of Mount View Drive in Arcade died Friday, January 12, 2007 at Buffalo General Hospital. She was 54. Born November 21, 1952, in Springville, she was a daughter of Kermit and Shirley (Day) Haggerty. She married max Payne in Arcade January 4, 1975. Mrs. Payne was an avid golfer and Pioneer Central School sports fan. She was also a member of the Arcade United Methodist Church and belonged to the church's Bell Choir. She served as Deputy Clerk Treasurer for the Village of Arcade for over 20 years, and prior to that worked at Citizen's Central Bank in Arcade. She was a supporter of breast cancer research. Along with her husband and parents, she is survived by a son, Brennan Payne of Arcade; sisters Judy (Doug) Chapman of Arcade and Jane (Tom Spencer) Bramer of Arcade; and her father-in-law, Howard (Jackie) Payne of Arcade. Her mother-in-law, Loretta Payne, preceded her in death. A funeral service was held Tuesday, January 16, 2007 at the Arcade United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Bud Vredenburg and Pastor Bob Schooley officiating. Memorial contributions in her name may be sent to the Arcade United Methodist Church. W.S.
