About	Kevin E. Very of Machias passed away May 5, 2021 at the Olean General Hospital at the age of 67. He was born February 15, 1954; son of the late Eugene and Rose (Helit) Very. On July 21, 1979 in West Valley, NY he married the former Dorothy Bieber who survives. Kevin was a graduate of the Pioneer High School and was the NYS FFA district vice president his senior year. He was a farmer most of his life, worked at Diamond Saw and spent over 30 years in the propane industry. He had a love for Allis Chalmers tractors and was a collector of all sizes. He had a large inventory and enjoyed going to tractor and toy shows. Kevin also enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his children, grandchildren and his dog, Lucy. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children: Katie (Christopher) Cornwall and Courtney (Joshua) Dabolt; his grandchildren: Clara and Karly Cornwall, Aria Dabolt and another granddaughter on the way; his sister, Margaret Jefferds and his nephew, Michael Jefferds. He is preceded in death by his parents and his brother-in-law, Robert Jefferds. He was well loved and missed by everyone. He will be remembered by his dry sense of humor and always having a story to tell. Friends may call on Wednesday, May 12, 2021 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the W.S. Davis Funeral Home, 358 Main St., Arcade. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, May 13, 2021 at 11 AM at Mt. Hope Cemetery in West Valley. Memorials may be made to a donor's charity of choice
