| About | She was my best friend always. I miss her every day. She was born in Springville in 1954 to Roger and Doris Wolf. We met in 7th grade and were best friends that started college in Geneseo in 1972. I left WNY in 1990 when I remarried and didn’t see her nearly as much as I wished….I think of Deb every day… |

Debbie and I were on "It's Academic" our senior year. We won the first two matches and were ahead by 35 points with seconds to go. (25 points a question) I advised my team not to do anything in that there was no way two questions could be asked and answered in the time remaining. I heard Van Miller say Pioneer and Debbie answers Thomas Bird which was the wrong answer. Williamsville East answers Thomas Wren which was the correct answer. We lost in the final seconds and the next weekend the captains of the three (3) finalists were on the TV Topics.
