About	Donald S. Spencer of East Concord, NY died Monday, February 3, 2020 at Mercy Hospital in Buffalo at the age of 75. He was born January 24, 1945 in Buffalo, NY a son of Ruth (Rauch) Spencer and the late Stanley Spencer. He was a member of the Sardinia United Methodist Church, a member of the "no noncents" car club. He loved classic cars and had his 1937 Pontiac taxi cab in the movie "The Natural." Don enjoyed attending car shows and enjoyed spending time with his children, grandchildren and his wife of 48 years. He also had a great knowledge of many things. He was a saw operator for 37 years for Koike Aronson in Arcade. He is survived by his mother - Ruth Spencer of Sardinia; his wife - Deborah (Hopkins) Spencer whom he married November 11, 1972 in Sardinia; his children: Jennifer (Doug) Pieterick of Bonaire, GA and Nicole (Rodney Horton) Spencer-Whiting of Winter Haven, FL; his grandchildren: Paige and Noah Pieterick; his siblings: Sharon (late Dan) Roblee of Sardinia, Ken (Faye) Spencer of Sardinia, Jean (Dennis) Thomas of East Arcade; his sister-in-law: Debi Spencer of Arcade; also survived by several nieces and nephews. He was also the caregiver of Ann Litwinski of East Concord and Rita Scharf of Springville. He is preceded in death by his father; his siblings: Gary Lee Spencer and Fay Martindale. Friends may call Thursday, February 6, 2020 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the W.S. Davis Funeral Home, 358 Main St., Arcade. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, February 7, 2020 at Noon at the Sardinia United Methodist Church with Pastor Dave Kubiak officiating. Interment will be held in Sardinia Cemetery.
