About	Michael James McMannus of Grove Street in Delevan died Monday, Oct. 7, 2019 at his residence. He was 68. Born June 12, 1951 in Buffalo, he was a son of the late Robert John McMannus and Janet Smeader Smith. On Oct. 2, 1971, Mike married the former Sandra Gentner in Delevan; she survives. He was a graduate of Pioneer Central where he ran high school track and played basketball. An Air Force Reservist, Mike served from 1970-1976. He had worked as a machinist at Prestolite in Arcade. He had also worked for Aronson’s. Mike enjoyed bowling, golf, and playing softball. In addition to his wife; his children, Corinne (Steve) Lazarz of Delevan and David McMannus of Terre Haute, Ind.; grandchildren, Kelsey Kinmartin, Brooklyn, Sofia, Emilie and Willow Lazarz, and Tyson and Maddox McMannus; brothers and sisters-in-law, Sue and David Hauser of East Aurora, Tom and Idalynn Gentner of Coolville, Ohio, and Karen and Armand Taddeo of Seminole, Fla.; nieces, Samantha Gentner, Melody Amabile, Kaylin Amabile; nephews, Eric and Kurt Hauser; and his great-nephew, Tyler Williams, survive. His parents; stepfather, Melvin Smith; and his nephew, Symion Gentner, preceded Mike in death. Friends may call on Thursday, Oct. 10 from 2 – 6 p.m. at the W.S. Davis Funeral Home, 358 Main St., Arcade, where a funeral service will immediately follow at 6 p.m. with Rev. Tim Chase officiating. Interment will be held in the Delevan Cemetery.
