Favorite School Memory	Unfortunately don't have many memories from high school. Maybe the favorite is the campus walks we would take in Earth Science class with Mr. "Rock" Johnson. He helped to open my eyes to the beauty and sensitivity of the environment.
About Me	After high school I served as an Infantryman in the Army for 4 years. I was in the 82nd Airborne Division at Ft. Bragg. Deployed to Kosovo in 1999-2000. After the Army I got my AA at Sandhills and then transferred to UNC-CH. I got married to the greatest woman in the world (lucky me!) and started working as a Commercial Insurance Underwriter for the Nationwide Insurance regional office in Raleigh. Four years later I was lucky enough to be accepted into the US Foreign Service. I studied Spanish, Russian, Kazakh, and Mandarin at the State Dept Foreign Service Institute. I have served at our diplomatic posts in Ciudad Juarez, London, Yekaterinburg, St. Petersburg, Moscow, Astana, and Beijing.
