About Me	Graduated from College with a BS is Physics, received commission in the US Army, deployed to Bosnia, met my husband, lived in Germany, left the Army, was hired by Corning Incorporated in 1999 as a Forming Operations Engineer, moved to Kentucky, traveled to Japan, Korea and Taiwan for business, traveled through Germany, France, Italy, Denmark, Czech Repubilc, Austria, Spain, Turkey, Morrocco, Canada, and Mexico just for fun. Was on assignment in Japan (south of Tokyo) from April to Nov 08, lived in the Kobe-Osaka area for another 6 months, and have returned to the US Feb of 2009. Headed to Japan again for 6 months starting in June 2010 as Technology Manager for a new composition technology transfer. Back in Japan Dec 2012 to be the Engineering Manager for a plant for a few years. Chris and the pets arrived in June 2013 and adjusted very well. Can read Hiragana, Katakana, and some Kanji characters--makes life a lot easier to read some Japanese! Still loving my job!
