Jessica Michelle Harris, 19, of Piketon, died on December 15, 2015, as a result of an auto accident. She was born on July 20, 1996, the daughter of Mart and Tracy (Mayes) Harris, of Piketon. She is also survived by her daughter, Ashtyn Rae Carver; sister, Summer (David) Borchardt, of Fort Drum, NY; grandparents, Florence Frisby, Mike (Kathy) Mayes, and Charlotte Mayes (Ernie Thomas); niece, Addilyn Michelle Paige Borchardt; uncles, Jim Harris (Brenda Smith), Gary (Juanita) Harris, Mike Frisby, Darrell Frisby, Tim Frisby, and Micheal (Melissa) Mayes; aunts, Vicki (Whitey) Cydrus, Sherry Frisby, and "T" Christina (Josh) Arthur; special cousin/sister, Kirrissa (Bryse) Collett; and numerous other cousins.
She was a 2015 graduate of Piketon High School and Career and Technology Center. She was also a certified STNA.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 22 at 11:00 a.m. at the Piketon High School Gymnasium with Pastor Richard Arthur officiating, followed by a private burial. Calling hours will be held on Monday from 5 - 8 p.m. at the Botkin Hornback Funeral Home, Waverly, and one hour prior to the service at the high school on Tuesday.
