About	DAYTON, Ohio — William Wells McAllister, 92, of Dayton, Ohio, formerly of Middlebury, Vt., died Dec. 21, 2014. He was born Aug. 27, 1922, in Elm Grove, Ohio, to Lina Grooms and Robert McAllister. He graduated from Piketon High School. With broken hearts, we announce the passing of our husband and father, William Wells McAllister, 92, on December 21, 2014. Born in Elm Grove, Ohio, on August 27, 1922, to Lina Grooms and Robert McAllister, he is survived by his wife of 66 years, Joyce McAllister; his children, Timothy, Christine, and Joan; four grandchildren; and five great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents. He was a graduate of Piketon High School and worked at Standard Register for 33 years. He then became a realtor in Middlebury, Vermont, prior to moving back to Dayton. A memorial Mass will be held at St. Charles Borromeo Church, 4500 Ackerman Boulevard, in Kettering, Ohio 45429, at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, January 2, 2015. An open house will be held on Friday, January 2, 2015, at the McAllister home, 4517 Burchdale Street, Kettering, Ohio 45429, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. The family would like to thank Crossroads Hospice for their special care.
