About Me	Holy Moly I'm 58! Where does the time go! My disability unfortunately made it clear that I would never be able to be a housekeeper again. Arthritis ensured an unwanted early retirement. I was super bummed at first. Now I am into housefrauing, soapmaking, and baking. the baking ensures that I do some modified yoga along with the exercises that my PT gave me last October. I still cannot put my hair up in a ponytail in back. But I can work it with a big clippy comb if I lift the left arm very slllowly with my right arm. I am up to liftng 10 lbs with my left arm. I am Popeye with my right arm. Ha ha! I use a cane for my dropfoot. It comes in handy and keeps me from literally tripping over my own foot! I am taking free classes from EdX this year. One is Ancient Greek Heros, the other is Human Health and Global Envionmental Change. A person does not get credits for taking EdX classes. They are for intrinsic interest, or perhaps to help someone in similar study areas. I am Pumped about these classes and the Professors, Md's, and the assistants who are taking their time to share with us. I will be seeing this year how much I can safely lift with my left arm. I think three months with ten LBs, than if it seems safe 3 months with 15Lbs and than we will see how it goes. I don't want to do to much to soon they had to reattach my biceps tendon. The arthritis had scraped it almost off when they got to it. Anyway thats what's doing right now with me. Oh My niece Liz gave me a lovely gift of a "Mandala Bible" By Madonna Gauding. I am having fun posting a little bit of each chapter and searching the internet for mandalas relating to the part of the book I am posting.
