James Carter
Class of 1978
Jim Carter went to work for American Airlines shortly after graduating from PTHS in 1978. Since that time, Jim has worked his way up from the ground floor to become V.P. Eastern Sales Division which includes New York, Boston, Washington D.C., and Miami along with the remainder of he east coast and Canada.
In his career of nearly 30 years, Mr. Carter worked on several revolutionary projects that have become AA mainstay programs, including AAdvantage, AAirpass and the development of American's corporate travel and travel management programs.
Jim's hard work and dedication to the job prove that no matter how hard the economy/industry is hit, success can be achieved when you love what you do.
P.S. Jim is still married to his Peters Twp. H.S. sweetheart, Debbie Opfermann Carter, since 1981!!! Together they have 3 children: Bryant, Kristin & Katie
