Doug is a super athelete. He played with heart and soul. Friday's evenings where such a highlight of my life for 4 years. Doug played all 4 years on the varsity team which in itself was a great accomplishment. He was a great examp[le to all of his teammates. I know that most often Doug was playing offense and defense. On many occasions the position he played he gave it all he had. He took so much pride in his efforts and took it very seriously.It was always a thrill the next day to see or read about him in the local paper..He was well liked by his peeers and team mates. Doug DeFranco was an exemplary student and athelete.
