Rebecca Rumbold, age 45, of Canton, died Thursday evening in her home following an extended illness. Daughter of the late Edward and Waneta (Leach) Rumbold, she was a life resident of the Canton area and a 1976 graduate of Perry High School. Becky was also a graduate of The Timken Mercy School of Nursing and received her Master's Degree from Walsh University. She was a Registered Nurse formerly employed by Children's Medical Center, Akron. Member of the Canton Baptist Temple.

She is survived by one sister and brother-in-law, Judy and Ed Byers of Canton South; one brother and sister-in-law, Ben and Sue Rumbold of Massillon; one niece, Amanda Byers; five nephews, Jason Vaughn, Chad and Joshua Rumbold, Frankie and Travis Byers.

A private family graveside service will be in Forest Hill Cemetery with Delaney Young officiating. The Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home on S. Cleveland Ave is in charge of arrangements.
