| Favorite School Memory | 10th grade, 1st day back from summer vacation. Nobody saw it coming, everyone always knew me to be a fatty lol, well that summer I was determined to change that and show everyone what I was really made of. I stayed active that whole summer and shed like 30 lbs and when I came back everyone was like wow, nice job. And so I earned the respect of my classmates and continued to lose the weight to the point where people would pass me by in the hall and say to eachother looking back at me, "hey, remember when he used to be fat?" I remember at the time earning that respect meant the world to me and so, my classmates from Perry, GA, all of you who knew me, I...(read more) |
| About Me | Still single mainly because up til I was about 25 I wasn't taking my love life seriously, I just wanted to have fun, see the world a little and explore the ocean for a while before choosing which fish I wanna keep ;) Now I'm just kinda waiting for the right one, I've been single single for a little over a yr and a half which is a real feat for me lol, right one or not its always hard to say no to beautiful ladies. As for kids, not having any til after I'm married for at least a few years, well, thats the plan anyway and so far I've done good to stick by it. After High school I immediately started in the AutoCAD program at MGTC where I saw some familiar faces :) I got my CAD certificate, couldn't find a job doing it as the market for CAD Operators was brutally over-saturated in middle GA at the time. So I went to work for my parents at their sign shop which turned out to be a good thing, I was great at it and as honest an employee they could ever get, why not right? And the money was really good to, I lived well for a while until the economy started crashing and they had to let me go so desperate times called for desperate measures. I moved to Oklahoma City and started a new life there going to school at a fine institute known as Francis Tuttle and I attended their O&P program for 7 of the 24 needed months to completion. Progress based training. Due to some unfortunate circumstances my training in that field came to a halt, and so did pretty much the rest of my life there, so I decided again, time to go. My parents happened to be moving from Alabama to California at the time so I said why not, I love Cali. My sister had been living in LA for several years by now so I was familiar with the LA area, Venice beach, Santa Monica, all that, and even had friends there so I felt really comfortable with it to. So we came to Oakhurst, a beautiful little quaint little town with a population of about 16,000 nestled comfortably in the valleys of the Sierra Mountains, about 8 minutes from the entrance to Yosemite National Park. So I have a job here as a Grounds Keeper/Maintenance guy for one of the camps in ...(read more) |
