About Me	I have had a passion for what in my earlier years was Negro History. This passion started when I was 9 years of age and I was visiting my uncle who was at a Catholic Seminary. It was at this seminary in Oldenburg, Indiana that I saw a tract with a Negro standing on a cloud. This person was the patron saint, Blessed Martin DePorres of Lima, Peru. I could not explain this burning passion that I had at an early age but as I got older, I knew it had to do with a search for greater knowledge and truth concerning the then term, Negro. Since those early years, God has blessed me tremendously. He has opened venues and brought me in the presence of some great men and women; Alex Haley, Coretta Scott King, Louis Lomax, Nikki Giovanni, Donald Bogle, Sister Alma V. John, Bernie Casey, Jessie Owens etc. I wrote poetry for the national tribute to the late author and playwright, James Baldwin. This national tribute was held at Bowling Green State University with people from all across the nation in attendance. I have some the rarest collection of African American books and magazines which basically over the years were left to me in wills or given to me as gifts.
