Favorite School Memory	My favorite high school memory was one of Mr. Howard's last rehearsals as the Band Director. A very formal teacher, he stretched his vocabulary a little. About Me	Lets see...the summer after graduation I worked as a ride operator at Canobie Lake Park in Salem, NH. After that I spent two years as the Music, Theatre and Counselor in Training Program Area Head at Camp Birch Hill, an overnight traditional summer camp in New Durham, NH. The summer of 2005 I traveled the country competing with the Spartans Drum and Bugle Corp of Nashua, NH. I additionally performed at the Innaugural Parade in Washington, D.C. with the Spartans. We took home the Gold that year. I went back to Camp Birch last year and will return again next year. Aside from regular camp, I will be directing a one week intensive music camp for students in grades 7-12. For the past five years I have been in the undergrad program here at UMass Lowell for music ed. I will be graduation this year and will go directly to grad school next year. During the school year, I perform in the Wind Ensemble, Percussion Ensemble and Marching Band. During my tenure at UML, I have performed with the Concert Band (1st Chair), University Orchestra (1st Chair), Wind Ensemble, All-City Youth Wind Ensemble, Hockey Pep Band A, Percussion Ensemble and the Marching Band. I have also served as President of the UMass Lowell Collegiate Chapter of MENC, The Music Educators National Conference. Additionally, I have served on the board of the Massachusetts Music Educators Association as the State Collegiate President of MENC, as well as the Northeast District Board as Collegiate Representative.
