About	I served with Richard ( Dickie) Brownson in the Marine Corps. He went to Vietnam before I did.. In 1968, just before I went over, He and I visited a friend of his who been wounded in Nam. Dickie and I were serving with the 2nd Battalion, 6th Marine Regiment at the time. I never told him how much I respected him and how highly I thought of him. When I saw that he had passed away, I believe in 1981, I knew that I would never get that chance. Peace be with you, Richard Brownson, you were a good man!
